Just a blog about my daily life. Loving Jesus through feast and famine, learning ways to be more frugal, coping through pregnancy loss and infertility, surviving bankruptcy and foreclosure, operating a barely-profitable pizza franchise, homeschooling an attention-deficient first-grader, being the loving wife of a man from a WAY different culture, and other little dibs and dabs that may or may not interest anyone but me.

I Need a Few New Recipes...Can You Help?
I'm trying to find some different, lowfat, frugal recipes to incorporate into our diets. This week I'm hoping to try Pepper's lentils and cabbage - it looks so tasty! So, if you've got any suggestions, I'd be indebted.
I like any cookbook by Molly Katzen which are usually vegetarian cookbooks. Some are specifically lowfat. I also like a cookbook called "Cheap, Fast, Good" by Beverly Mills. It isn't all lowfat but you can easily tweak them to be. Good luck!
I have the luxury to not have to be very frugal in this horrific economy. but that doesn't mean I waste money either. I buy mostly of off brand stuff, but I love great tasting food. So I apologize in case my ideas don't fit your budget. I post a new dish every wednesday and I am sure you could tweak them. I also get alot of ideas off the eating well website, and for sam zein the cooking guy on discoveryhealth.com happy cooking!!!!
